Liberal members voted against Bill C-204- bans the export of non-recyclable plastic waste to foreign countries
In the opinion of Conservative MP Davidson the decision to oppose the bill is less about the bill itself rather the party politics of supporting a Conservative initiative
Bill C-204 passed at the second reading as of June 22,2021 the bill made it into the Second Reading within the Senate but no activity has occurred past that.
